Nikunj Patel (Physiotherapist)

Nikunj Patel is a Registered Physiotherapist and has a wide range of experience working with different types of patients. He is graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree and practicing since then. He has also completed the Fitness and Health Promotion program from Humber college and gained valuable experience as a fitness trainer.

He gained a variety of experience working with different types of physiotherapy settings. He worked in a Private clinic, Hospital, Community Health and Homecare. He has worked with the different age groups of patients and in different environmental settings and gained very valuable experience. He is skilled in the use of manual therapy, electrotherapy, shockwave therapy and different treatment protocols as per patients’ needs. He is specialized in Vestibular Rehab, Concussion Management, Cupping therapy, Manual Mobilization of Spine and other joints and McKenzie Approach for Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment for patients’ conditions. He also volunteers in Special Olympics.

Dr. Rita Patel, BSc, ND, MEd Specialist (Naturopathic Doctor)

Naturopathic doctors represent primary health care providers, who use natural therapies to provide health care for people of all ages with any medical concern.  Naturopathic doctors will emphasize prevention and support the body’s natural healing abilities to obtain optimal health.

Dr. Rita Patel, ND, will meet with each patient in order to understand the presenting symptoms and identify the underlying cause of illness.  She will take a thorough intake, perform relevant physical exams and request necessary laboratory tests to diagnose and treat the root cause of the disease.  Treatment choices include nutritional and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathic medicine, and hydrotherapy.  Dr. Patel, ND, will create an individualized treatment plan designed specifically for the patient, to help achieve and maintain optimum health. 

In addition to seeing patients at Health Mantra Physiotherapy Clinic and at McMaster University Student Wellness Center, Dr. Patel, ND teaches at the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic and the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.  Furthermore, she teaches Clinical Skills and Naturopathic Foundations for the International Medical Graduate cohort at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).  In addition, she assists in teaching Physical and Clinical Diagnosis and Primary Care for second and third-year students at CCNM and is a guest lecturer at McMaster University.

Vitali Kostevskii (Massage therapist and Acupuncturist)

Vitali is working as a registered Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist for over 18 years. He has treated hundreds of clients with various health problems: work and sport-related injuries, car accidents, digestive disorders, stress, cosmetic acupuncture and many others. Combining massage therapy with acupuncture helps his client achieve more complete and long lusting pain relief.        

He is very well experienced in what he does and brings the results. He enjoys what he does and helps patients with lower back pain, sciatica, neck pain, tendonitis, sprain and strain, plantar fasciitis, Bell’s palsy, etc.
